Rocks in a Box

The Rocks-in-a-Box mineral collection comes in a clear plastic box with labels for each mineral.  These samples correspond to the minerals found at the sites in the Kettle Country Treasure Maps book.  They include crystals, ore samples, gold nuggets and fossils from Ferry, Stevens and Pend Oreille Counties in Northeast Washington.  They are intended for educational purposes, making minerals easier to identify if you do your own exploring and to introduce people to rockhounding in the area.
