Kettle Falls Historical Center Museum

Kettle Falls Historical Center    The Kettle Falls Historical Center was originally created to house artifacts from David Chance's study of the archeology of Kettle Falls.  Chance found artifacts dating back 9000 years.  His book, People of the Falls, tells the story of this key sacred fishing ground.  The Park Service sent the artifacts to Vancouver Washington but the mission of the museum to depict pre-contact life and times remains.  Their collection includes numerous native artifacts; scenes from the fur trade and local art related to the site.  During the summer, the museum is open 11AM to 5PM every day except Tuesday.
The museum phone # is 509-738-6964.
